Automated paper catalogue publications with MeDaPro Publish
Up to now paper catalogues have been produced in many individual steps with a high manual effort. With MeDaPro you can create paper catalogues automatically from a central database.
Database publishing means that data are taken from the database and are placed directly on the catalogue pages: By means of MeDaPro Publish, the typesetting system Adobe InDesign can be accessed directly and can be provided with data. It is only at the moment of publishing that the current data are passed on to the page template - in this way it is ensured that your publications always contain the latest article information.
Individually designing templates and allocating articles
Along with the catalogue team of ITB define the requested layout, the content and the format of your catalogue. From your article assortment, select those products by drag&drop which you want to publish in your paper catalogue.
In cooperation with you, ITB will create various layouts for the template pages which are then assigned with the requested articles - in such a way every products receives its predetermined place.
After publication each page can be edited further individually when required - by the ITB Graphics Design Department or by your company graphic designer. Depending on the degree of individualisation, a degree of automation of 100 percent may be achieved in case product pages of a catalogue created by MeDaPro. In this way you can save up to 70 percent of the costs for print - compared to completely manual setup.
Issue in various languages
The Multichannel Connector is especially thrilling in combination with the automation server. This permits a time-controlled issue of the requested data without you have to intervene manually. The analysis tool supplied permits the detailed evaluation of the data called off so that your multichannel activities can be improved specifically.

Production of a paper catalogue
All data, which shall appear in a catalogue later, will be kept centrally in a Product information management system. The persons responsible add any modifications continuously - ensuring that up-to-date data only will appear in the catalogue. The product pages will then be published automatically by the push of a button in on or several previously designed templates. Customer-specific prices can be taken over as well in the process.
