Solutions for the purchase
Mr Joachim Witt is the Purchasing Manager of Industrie AG and administers the cost centres of several departments.
Solution example: Customer has several cost centres
Müller GmbH has a large customer, ie ABC AG. The purchasing manager there, Mr Meyer, is responsible for eight departments. There are two to three employees each who carry out purchases in the shop of Müller GmbH.
Previously Müller GmbH has changed all cost centres on call or has added orders manually. This is very laborious and error-prone and thus shall be improved. In addition, ABC wants to have a possibility of keeping an eye on the budgets of their staff.
Müller GmbH has set up a shop access for Mr Meyer, who has the rights for user setup and administration.
With immediate effect Mr Meyer himself can set up a user account for all purchasing employees, can allocate one or several cost centres, and can define budgets for various periods. If the budget is exceeded, the order is sent to Mr Meyer for approval.
The cost centre information is included during the entire order handling. This facilitates the processes on both sides.
Operating Live catalogue by Simple System
Mr Joachim Witt, the purchasing manager of Industrie AG, wants to buy at Müller GmbH electronically. Like his other suppliers, Müller Company shall render its catalogue available to Simple System platform. For Mr Witt it is important that Müller displays the articles available and prices of the master contract, and that an order receives the Schulze order number in order to facilitate subsequent allocation of the delivery.
In addition to MeDaPro & Co., Müller GmbH also uses Multichannel Connector in order to render available all interfaces. In this way, Simple System cannot only display the catalogue data of Müller and can filter articles specifically for Industrie AG, but can also display the requested structure with the prices from the master contract Industrie AG passes the order number via Simple System to the Multichannel Connector, which uses ConnectPro to send it to the ERP of Müller. When required, the order confirmations and delivery notes can be printed in this way.
